In a news release, Race Director Michelle Juehring says "big plans" are in the works for the anniversary race.
It will double as one of eight National Championships for the Road Runners Club of America. And after four years of retirement, former director Ed Froehlich will return to help organize. A bronze statue will be dedicated to Karl Ungurean, another former director of the race, who died last year.
Registration will begin this month.
